Common questions

Is there a hall plan for the Mineralientage Zürich 2026?
Yes: MapMarkt shows the Mineralientage Zürich as a map in your browser, no download – every table in blocks A to L and in row S along the hall walls with its stand number, plus toilets, snack bar, lift and visitor stairs. The map is independent and not the official site; the organiser's own hall plan is on mineralienmessen.ch.
When and where is the Mineralientage Zürich 2026?
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, 10 am to 5 pm both days, at the Umwelt Arena in Spreitenbach (Türliackerstrasse 4), next to the Shoppi Tivoli mall. It is the 64th edition; official information at mineralienmessen.ch.
Where do I find Swiss minerals and crystal hunters («Strahler»)?
The organiser names these stands: Infostand, S-6, B-3, C-3, F-8, F-9, G-1, G-7, H-4, H-5, I-2, J-4, K-5, L-4. On the map the category «Swiss minerals & crystal hunters» shows exactly these; the information stand is on the main floor by the lift.
Can I have minerals identified or gemstones checked?
Yes: at the SZM identification stand (S-26) specialists in mineralogy and geology identify minerals and stones you bring along. At stand E-2 a gemmologist checks gemstones and jewellery for whether they are genuine or treated. Both are on the map under «Try it & identify».
What is there for children?
Gold panning at stand S-8 (you keep the gold flakes you find), soapstone grinding and carving at stand S-14 and crystals glowing under UV light at stand S-15. The organiser says children and young people up to 16 get in free.
How do I get to the Umwelt Arena?
Take the Limmattalbahn (line 20 from Zürich Altstetten towards Killwangen) to the «Umwelt Arena» stop right by the building. By car take the A1 to the Spreitenbach or Dietikon exit; the Umwelt Arena has its own underground car park with about 500 spaces. The map shows the stops and the car park.
Where can I eat at the Mineralientage?
At Restaurant Klima on the entrance level (main floor) and at the snack bar in the exhibition hall, between the visitor stairs and the lift. Both are on the map.
Why do most stands have no name?
The organiser publishes no exhibitor list, and many exhibitors are private collectors. MapMarkt therefore names only companies and clubs, and shows every other stand by its number from the hall plan. At the fair each table carries a name sign.
