When is Polarzauber at Zurich main station in 2026?

From 19 November to 24 December 2026, every day including weekends and holidays. It opens on Thursday 19 November at 11:00; on Christmas Eve it is open 11:00–16:00, then it closes. polarzauber.ch has the final word.

What are the opening hours?

According to the organiser (October 2026): market Sunday–Wednesday 11:00–21:00, Thursday–Saturday 11:00–22:00; food and take-away until 22:00, Thursday–Saturday until 23:00; bars and mulled-wine stands Thursday–Saturday until 23:30 at the latest. Christmas Eve 11:00–16:00.

Where is it, and is entry free?

In the main hall of Zurich HB (8001 Zürich), at the end of the platforms – straight from the train into the market. The tram and bus stops Bahnhofplatz/HB, Bahnhofquai/HB and Sihlquai/HB are a few steps away, and the hall is covered. Entry is free, says the organiser.

How much is mulled wine at Polarzauber?

On the Polarzauber Lounge’s 2026 drinks list a Glühwein costs CHF 6.90, with a shot («mit Güggs») CHF 9.90; in 2025 it was also 6.90 (watson.ch, 5 December 2025). Other stands may charge differently; the mulled-wine index on the map shows the prices we know.
